What British Citizens need to travel to Jordan from UK?

Before travelling to Jordan, British citizens must prepare the right documents and meet entry expectations.

Here’s what to you should have ready before your trip:

  • Passport with at least 6 months’ validity and at 2 blank pages
  • Return or onward travel ticket to prove you’re not staying indefinitely
  • Proof of sufficient funds to support your stay
  • Accommodation confirmation (hotel booking, tour, or invitation letter)
  • Travel insurance that includes medical coverage and emergencies

The return tickets, proof of funds and accommodation are not always necessary, but it’s a good idea to have them ready in case you’re asked by officials at the border. You’ll also probably need a valid visa or a Jordan pass for British citizens.

Travelers who prepare these in advance are less likely to face questions on arrival and more likely to enjoy a quick entry into the country.
