If you do not have a Jordan Pass, you will need to queue up for a visa on arrival and pay the visa fees at the airport. Although the Jordan Pass is not a requirement, it does facilitate the visa on arrival process: simply show the pass at the port of entry for free access.

With the Jordan Pass you will receive a Jordan visa on arrival at one of the designated ports of entry. The Jordan visa is a single-entry visa valid for 1 month (30 days). It can be extended at a police station in the Kingdom should you wish to stay longer.

The minimum stay for the visa fees to be waived is 3 nights (4 days).

The Jordan pass is valid for 2 weeks after it is scanned at the first tourist attractions. Make sure you visit all the sites that interest you within this 2-week window to get the most out of your Jordan Pass.

The Jordan Pass is valid for 12 months from the date on which it was purchased, it can be used for the first time within 1 year of issue. The pass is activated when it is scanned at the first tourist attraction and will automatically expire 14 days later.

You can get your Jordan Pass quickly and easily online. Simply complete the Jordan Pass, pay the fee, and submit your request. Just a few personal and passport details are required.

Once approved, you will receive your Jordan Pass by email. The digital pass can be shown at the port of entry and entrance to attractions, however, you are advised to print a copy in case of any technical difficulties.

Just like it happens with adults, children of all ages who hold a Jordan Pass are waived their visa fees when they stay in the kingdom for at least 3 nights.

You can enter each of the tourist sites included in the Jordan Pass once. The only exception is Petra which can be visited on 3 consecutive days.

Yes, provided you stay a minimum of 3 nights (4 days) in Jordan, the visa on arrival fees will be waived. You will still need to complete the visa on arrival application at the airport, but you will not have to pay anything.

Should you spend fewer than 3 nights in Jordan, you will be required to pay for the visa on departure.

Yes, you will be asked to show your passport or identity card to enter tourist sites with the Jordan Pass. For this reason, you must ensure all your passport information is filled in correctly when you submit your request.

If you are a dual citizen and therefore have 2 different passports, you should first ensure that the one you select was issued by a country eligible for the Jordan Pass.

You will be asked to show your passport at each attraction, together with the Jordan Pass. If the details do not match you may not be granted entry; it is essential that you purchase the Jordan Pass and travel to Jordan using the same passport.
